Why Chanan and Hebrew Terms?

Why Redeeming Chanan? Chanan is the Hebrew root word for grace/favor. It is through YAH's chen that we have not perished. No words, no amount of time, no monument, no books, no songs, no poems, not even the most worthy tribute could ever succinctly convey gratitude enough for our Savior Yeshua Ha'Meshiach. We are redeemed from our sins daily. Redemption did not culminate at the cross, it was just the beginning! We are redeemed through the precious blood of Yeshua (Ephesians 1:5-7). Thus, I could not find a more fitting name for the blog. Why Hebrew terms and names? Must we be Jews in order to call God, YAHWEH? Certainly not. However, God is not YAHWEH's name, that is His title. It's the same as if you were to be called, Mr. Mrs. or Miss. Only recently, has YAH convicted me to call upon HIS NAME. And so I shall. As for Hebrew terms, well, why not? May YAH not permit me to write untruth but may He use this platform to proclaim nothing but the Truth; all glory belongs to Him! It is my sincere prayer that my blog may glorify YAH firstly and be a blessing to those who choose to share this journey with me. YAH bless thee!

Should Christians Celebrate Halloween?

Since tomorrow is Halloween I decided to do some research and write a little about the origins and symbols of this holiday. I also wanted to pose the question, “Should Christians celebrate Halloween?” This may seem like a no-brainer to the average Christian, but more and more, the church is embracing the world and /or watering down and sugar-coating the truth so as to not offend anyone. Something that is becoming more prevalent in American churches is the “fall festival/harvest” which is just a synonym for Halloween. It does not matter that kids are not in costume, the mere fact that an activity is done in place of, is enough to partake in it. Hence, I felt compelled to touch upon this topic and pray that believers may come to the light and stop offending God.  This is what I found out about Halloween… check it out.  What Does the Bible Say? Halloween is a holiday of death not just because of the costumes, macabre theme or movies but because of its meaning (more on that...

Will Thou be My Father?

If I have gone astray, will thou welcome me back? If I have rejected You, will Thou still accept me? If I have broken Your heart, will Thou still love me?        If I have turned my back in Your Presence, will Thou embrace me? Will thou still be my Father, even if I have been no daughter to You? I already did and still do, my child.

Hands

I see Your Glory I see Your love I see the hands that made it all The hands that formed me bit, by, bit are the same hands that were pierced Just for me, just for you I look at my own hands... Hands that sinned Hands that led me astray Are the same hands, now held in praise
